Terms of Service
Haven Council · These terms govern all participation within Haven. By joining or remaining a member, you agree to be bound by these terms in full.
Who We Are
Haven is a volunteer-run community group dedicated to identifying and reporting individuals who exploit, groom, or harm children online. We are not a law enforcement agency, licensed investigative body, or legal entity. We are a community of concerned individuals committed to doing things the right way — by the book, every single time. No exceptions.
Our Mission
Haven exists to identify and report predators to the appropriate authorities. We operate with integrity, transparency, and respect for the law. We do not take justice into our own hands — ever.
Our Values
- Accountability — We hold ourselves to the highest standard
- Integrity — Every report we submit is honest and evidence-based
- Safety — The protection of children is always our top priority
- Discretion — All information is handled with strict confidentiality
- Unity — We act as a team, not as individuals
Zero Tolerance Policies
The following behaviors will result in immediate and permanent removal from Haven with no warning and no appeal. These are non-negotiable.
- Doxxing — Publishing or sharing anyone's private personal information
- Hacking — Unauthorized access to any account, device, or system
- Extortion — Threatening or coercing anyone for any reason
- Harassment — Targeting, bullying, or intimidating any individual
- Vigilante Action — Confronting, exposing, or punishing suspects yourself
- Blackmail — Using information as leverage against anyone
- Illegal Activity — Any conduct that violates local, national, or international law
- Impersonation — Pretending to be law enforcement, Haven staff, or any authority
- Evidence Tampering — Altering, fabricating, or destroying evidence
- Leaking — Sharing confidential Haven information outside the group
- Grooming Simulation — Members must never initiate inappropriate contact even as bait
Reporting Guidelines
All reports submitted to the Haven Council must meet strict standards. Low-quality or bad-faith reports harm our credibility and waste law enforcement resources.
- Reports must be based on credible, verifiable evidence
- Evidence must be obtained through entirely lawful means
- Do not submit false, fabricated, or misleading reports
- Reports go to law enforcement only — never shared publicly
- Members must not contact, confront, or engage with suspects
- Screenshots must include timestamps and usernames
- Provide context — how the evidence was found and when
- Multiple pieces of corroborating evidence are strongly preferred
- Metadata should be preserved where possible
- Speculation or hearsay is not sufficient on its own
- Repeat or bad-faith reporting may result in removal
Member Conduct
All members are expected to maintain professionalism and respect at all times.
- Treat all members with respect regardless of rank or experience
- Disagreements must be handled privately and maturely
